The General Secretariat of the Nasserite People's Unionist Party expressed its sincere condolences to the Syrian and Turkish peoples, as a result of the devastating earthquake that struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, and left behind catastrophic effects that claimed thousands of lives and injured tens of thousands, and caused great damage to buildings, property and infrastructure.
The Secretary-General of the Nasserite People's Unionist Party, Abdullah Noman Muhammad, sent a telegram to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, in which he affirmed the full solidarity of the Nasserist organization and its stand by the leadership and the brotherly Syrian people, who never hesitated to stand and support the Yemeni people during the stages of their struggle. Noman expressed his hope that the Arab countries, and the Arab and international bodies, agencies, and organizations, would have an effective role in providing the necessary relief assistance and effectively contributing to rescuing the bereaved and mitigating the effects of the devastating earthquake.
The Secretary-General of the Nasserist organization addressed the most sincere fraternal feelings, condolences and sympathy to the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and through him to the families of the victims, the wounded and injured, and to the entire Syrian Arab people, asking God to help the Syrian leadership to overcome this catastrophe and limit its effects and to have mercy on the dead and heal the wounded and preserve Syria Arabic from all bad and hated.
