The Secretary-General of the Nasserite Unionist People’s Organization, Abdullah Noaman Mohammed, sent a congratulatory message to Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Saqqaf, Secretary-General of the Yemeni Socialist Party, on the occasion of the party’s 47th founding anniversary, which coincides with Yemen’s celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the October 14 Revolution.
In his message, Noaman expressed the Nasserite Organization’s deep appreciation for the historic and revolutionary bond between the two parties throughout Yemen’s national struggle, affirming that their shared commitment to building a democratic civil state remains a core foundation uniting genuine national forces.
He commended the Yemeni Socialist Party’s steadfast and historic positions in defending the principles of revolution, unity, and democracy, and its pivotal role in supporting peaceful change and strengthening political pluralism. These values, he noted, will continue to serve as common ground for joint efforts to build a just civil state for all Yemenis.
Noaman emphasized that the 47th anniversary of the Socialist Party’s founding comes at a critical juncture in Yemen’s history, which calls on all national political forces to enhance coordination and develop joint mechanisms to confront divisions, restore state institutions, and rescue the nation from the spiral of conflict and instability.
He added that both the Nasserite and Socialist parties, as historic pillars of Yemen’s liberation movement, bear a heightened responsibility today to defend republican values, freedom, citizenship, and justice in the face of divisive and hegemonic agendas threatening the integrity of the state and the unity of society.
The Secretary-General concluded by stressing that building a broad national coalition based on a comprehensive national rescue project remains the most effective path toward achieving the Yemeni people’s aspirations for a just peace and the restoration of their legitimate state.
